Rescue Beirut

Rescue Beirut is an initiative that aims to recover, and salvage the City from it’s major decline.

Since the start of Lebanon’s financial and economic collapse, as well as the devastating explosion that took place on August 4th 2020, Lebanon’s Capital, Beirut, has become a city completely engulfed in darkness and waste. Due to power shortages, Beirut looks like a ghost town, with little to no public lights, and a decline in waste management, the city has become a devastating reflection of the country’s dire state.

Beirut Celebrations in collaboration with volunteers from Beirut, met in order to present ideas within a central initiative to try to rescue Beirut from its decline. We believe it as our duty to carry out, successive initiatives, in coordination with key political figures as well as associations both domestically and international in an effort to secure and limit the City’s deterioration.
